Seven level
building

The Economics Building is a seven level building used as offices, a graduate research centre and computer laboratories, The offices are naturally ventilated by the use of operable windows and atrium air transfer plenum with a ducted heating system.

The environmentally responsible design incorporates energy efficient building services, including the chilled beam system imported from Germany, sun shading of the façades, wet wall façade system and the deluge fire protection system are also incorporated in the Economics Building.

The best innovation that was achieved on this project was the excellent relationship that developed between the Client, the Client’s Project Manager and the Lipman Site Team. All problems were addressed and solved together in a friendly team environment which lasted for the entire project.
